lET'S TRY THIS AGAIN. I understand my E-mail address was entered wrong in May.

Is anyone out there interested in a 2 inch strip swap. It would need at least 18 faithful traders.

1. I will designate the color each month.

2. You would buy one yard plus a little for shrinkage. The type of fabric is up to you. But make sure you send the same quality you would like to receive.

3. Wash and press the fabric. Then cut into 2 inch strips across the width.

4. Send 18 strips to me with a stamped self addressed return envelope.

5. I will sort and return to you 18 strips for each set sent. Hopefully the strips will all be different.

When we have 18 or more signed up I will contact everyone.

Is there already a swap out there like this?

I am in need of very light colored homespun prints. Can use plaids, checks, or stripes. 7 inch sqs as well as 3 x 13 inch strips. Project calls for a lot of different prints. Will buy or work out a trade.

I have about 30 civil war fabrics of quilt shop quality that I would like to exchange for similar pieces of cw fabrics to get more variety for my sampler. I purchased mostly 1/3 yard pieces so I can trade any size squares up to about 12 inches. All fabrics are washed and ironed, non smoking household. If you are interested in exchanging some squares please contact me.

The SeasonQuiltSwap

This will be an ongoing swap of 100% cotton fabrics. Every three months, like the four seasons of the year.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. quarter=Spring (jan/feb/march) color theme 2005:light green/ pink/ yellow and a spring theme "
2.quarter=summer (april/may/june) color theme 2005: not chosen yet
3. quarter=autumn (july/aug/sept) theme 2005: whatever autumn means: for example - leaves; trees ...
4. quarter=winter (oct/nov/dec/ theme 2005: not chosen yet
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Each quater will be a different theme. This means, the main theme of the fabric must match the theme of the quarter. You can choose the design!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The deadline is always the "1st." of each ending quarter.
Example: you would like to swap in spring (1st. quater)
then you have to sign up at the latest, on 1st. december to swap the spring swap.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Please include all the following information when you sign in:
your name, your postall address, your e-mail address and the number of persons you would like to swap with.
You can choose on how many persons you would like to swap with (max. 1-15 persons)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

About a week after the deadline, you will receive an email from me, containing the names and addresses of the persons you will swap with. (not more than 15 persons!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Be sure, that you have enough fabric to swap with each person, including yourself.
Fabric sizes are 10 inches x 10 inches. Prewashed and ironed fabric!

You need from each given theme one piece of fabric! That means together 3 pieces of (different) fabrics for one season!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Place your fabric quarters in a sandwich bag to protect them. Please put a Siggy in each baggy.
The siggy contains of the following: your name, your email, your country, "the SeasonQuiltSwap", the Season.
It simply needs to be on paper. Donīt forget it!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Place it in an addressed envelope and mail it prior the 10th of the present season (Example for Spring: 10th january)Please mind the postage. If you are not sure - visit your local postoffice.
You have to notify me of your mailing date. Failure to do so, or to communicate with me, as to any delay will eliminate you from the following season-swap.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now you can wait for the mail to bring you the season-swaps!
You will get as many fabrics as you have sent away. From each of your swap-partners you will get 3 pieces of fabric, each in one of the given theme for the season.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here are the deadlines for the four seasons!
spring = 1st. december:colors for spring 05 =
summer = 1st.march 05
autumn = 1st. june 05
winter = 1st september 05
