This is the 21st anniversary of the Valdez Museum's Quilt and Fiber Exhibit. The 2005 theme is "Stitches in Time" and features a, circa, 1906 U.S. flag quilt top created by Emma Sofia Holmberg Peterson. The quilt top was donated to the museum by her great grandaughter, Dorothy Clifton in 1985.
The exhibit is accompanied by a non profit quilt raffle with ten quilts donated by ten local non profit organizations. The raffle proceeds benefit each of those agencies.
