sale the Historical Society Museum
will host a special exhibit
open from March 5 - 31. Leftovers:
American Scrap Quilts. These
quilts have been made from scraps of
fabric leftover from other
projects. The featured quilts are on loan from
noted quilt
dealer and author, Stella Rubin of Potomac, Maryland and from
the Historical Societys own collection. In addition, a few
pieces have been loaned by local quilters and collectors. A $5.00
ticket admits one to the
quilt show and sale as well as to the
exhibit displayed at the museum. The
museum is located at 105
S. Broadway and the hours are 9:00 - 4:00
Tuesday - Sat, and
12:00 - 4:00 on Sunday. The museum is closed on Monday.
