Question of the Week
Question for the week of July 31, 2000:
Our question this week comes from Rachel S. Eastman
I used a template marking pencil on my quilt top for
hand quilting - how do I remove them without damaging fabric?
joan macdonald :
This comes from my sister. Put a tiny dab of toothpaste [any brand] on a toothbrush and dip in water, scrub pencil marks gently. I didn't believe it either, and you don't have to rinse. Try it and see.
Teressia :
Trying using a quilt eraser or washing the completed quilt.
lynda laroche :
Try using clorox 2 for colors and warm water on a gentle cycle.
Anne Robinson :
It ma be impossible to get out but try soking it in BIZ in your washing machine & washing on a gentle short cycle. Good Luck!
