Our question this week comes from Anne Marie

Is there such a thing as a 'hidden sleeve' on a quilt? I saw something at a quilt show where the casing or sleeve was not visible on the outside of the quilt, but incorporated into the 'sandwich' - does anyone have information on how to achieve this?

i made a sleeve that is incorported on back as i quilt in the ditch on the last border and at the binding the color is the same as back so you dont see it

It seems to me I saw directions for something like this in Quilters Newsletter Magazine several years ago. You were actually duplicating the quilting on the front so that it appeared that there was no hanging sleeve. Maybe you could contact them and see if they could tell you what issue the article appeared in.
