The Austin Area Quilt Guild is a nonprofit organization
dedicated to preserving the heritage of quilting and
promoting excellence and education in the art of
quiltmaking. There are 489 members, several dozen bees,
a bi-annual quilt show, seminars, demonstrations,

The Quilters Guild of Dallas meets the first thursday of each month at 7:00 pm.
We have over 600 members. The guild sponsors nationally known speakers and
workshops, a yearly show, 20 small groups, an annual retreat, and several
community projects. The membership fee is $25 ($15 for senior citizens) with the guild year beginning in August. A monthly newsletter is sent to all members. If you

10th year aniversary in 1995 and currently have about 150 members. They have
several bees, retreats, workshops, and national speakers throughout the year.

West Houston Quilter's Guild
West Houston
West Houston Quilter's Guild was founded in
January 1993. We currently have 104 members. The Guild was formed to
develop an appreciation for the art of quilting and its history and to
provide a common organization of people who love quilts and to educate
the public on the history and artistry of quilt making. We publish a
monthly newsletter sent to all members. We have a monthly lottery block
and a variety of speakers and programs are offered. Visitors are always
welcome. Meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 7:00
p.m. at the Texas Agricultural Extension Office, #2 Abercrombie (next to
the Farm &Ranch Club off Hwy. 6). We also have several bees and
