On the subject of slips, when my daughtner got married, the bridesmaids
dresses all required crinolines. I bought some extremely cheap half slips
and put three rows of gathered nylon net on them equal distance apart and

I know this is off topic but I wanted to get opinions of "presses" from 
anyone in this group who has one.  What brand do you have, do you like it, 
if not, why not, etc.  Would like to get a press but was told by my dealer 
she was having problems getting the Elna press in for some reason, and had 
also heard a good review of the Bernina Ironing System.  Didn't know what 
others are out there and anyone's experience with them.  Thanks for your 
assistance -- email me directly to avoid tying up list.  Thanks!
