Thank you everyone for the help on balancing. I'll find out how to do it
from the manual. The technician is in HK but they don't offer any classes
such as you would be used to in Europe or the States. It's a question of
trial and error out here in the Far East!!

I'm in Singapore for a couple of days. Perhaps there's a dealer here but I
shan't hold my breath!

Lovely orchids though!

Best wishes,

Brenda

Kinkos can make the photo transfer for you. If it was a professional photo,
they have to have permission of the photographer to do the copy. This
protects the photographer's copyrights. If the photo is 50 years old, they
would possibly make an exception as the photographer is probably not
available to give permisssion. Janet visiting cool Santa Fe where the roses

Why not take the new 145 and try it out. If it doesn't work as well as it
should, the take the refund. The original machine that you had may have just
been defective. Janet in sunny Santa Fe

Subject: Absentee List Mom and costume Thanks

Good Sunday All

Sorry to have been an absentee list mom for the last month or so, but the
final performance of Romeo & Juliet took place last night and "costume mom" is officially off duty. In the last 6 weeks I made 42 Italian Renaissance
costumes. Many thanks to all those on the list who sent me their advice.

I have pictures of some of the costumes and a complete count of all the items
made on a web page - http://ttsw.com/Bernina/RomeoandJuliet.html - or just follow the link off the BFC home page - http://ttsw.com/BFC

The kids were all really great & the performances were outstanding. And was I surprised when they called me up on stage last night to give me a bouquet & a gift certificate to a local resturant!! (of course, had I known, I would have dressed a bit better)

Now, I'm back to "normal" and have reduced the laundry mountain & will have to spend a few days doing all the fun things like cleaning the bathroom & washing the kitchen floor. Then, I'm going to start sewing things for me!!!

Now, go sew something
