Subject: latest lemon news from HK 

For those of you who have followed the saga of my  Virtuosa 153 in Hong Kong
and its continuing troubles.............
After many months of returning it to the "agent" I believe at last I have a
working model. To be fair the agent admits that he knows nothing about these
"new" models because they are not carried in HK. It seems a case of his
taking over the dealership from a previously well qualified person but
Bernina not really checking him out. He's been as helpful as he can be and
is a very nice person but he knows little about Berninas. He has no retail
store. What on earth is Bernina doing? Surely they should impose strict
guidelines on agents?

Perhaps I'm living in cloud cuckoo land but I expected more than this and
dread the next time my 153 QE goes on the blink. I've already lost so many
months of use in the first year. I wrote directly to Bernina head, H.P.
Ueltschi in Switzerland plus of course the support team in the company
headquarters but received no reply. When the head of the company can't
acknowledge an unhappy customer what hope is there? We might be little
individually but we put the bread on his table collectively.
