Question of the Week

Question for the week of December 29, 2003:

Our question this week comes Sue T:

And finally - what quilt/sewing related gifts did you receive ?

Charlotte :
A gift certificate to the Great American Quilt Factory in Denver, $100 bill for fabric shopping, and quilt pins in my stocking! Perfect!

Val :
I inherted a 1951 Singer sewing machine from my grandma when she moved to an assistive living facility. I love it and am not using my newer sewing machine!
Robin in Utah :
I got Electric Quilt 5. I am amazed by all I can do with it.
Valerie, Florida :
Jinny Beyer's new book on hand piecing and the multi-template. It's wonderful! I'm going to throw away my sewing machine!!! (not really!)
Lyn in PA :
A Grace Machine Quilting frame, a collection of Thimbleberries fat quarters, and two books on crazy quilts
Christina in WA :
My wonderful hubby gave me a $100 at In the Beginning, my favorite shop and also the one right up the road. I also got a king size piece of batting which I plan to use for my new design wall. I love those fabric gifts. Happy New Year everyone!
Barbara Warner :
My local quilt shop, Quilter's Garden in Duvall, Wa is carrying new rulers made in vibrant yellow/green plastic. They are wonderful and can see through them on any color fabric. Easy to find in the messy piles of fabric scraps too.
Jennine :
Fabric, a calendar with quilting patterns throughout the year, new flower-head pins...and 3 days without the kids so I could dive into a couple of big projects. Happy New Year everyone!
Dee Johnson :
$100 to apply to my "sister" trip to Chicago for the Quilt Show from my son.(He said my quilt shop was closed being he waited until the last minute?)
Told him that works!
